A parade dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held in Moscow. More than 10,000 military personnel representing all types and branches of the Armed Forces and other law enforcement agencies of Russia marched along Red Square in a solemn march. Behind them, 114 units of military equipment, led by the legendary Soviet medium tank T-34-85, drove along the Kremlin paving stones in parade formation. But there were no planes and helicopters in the sky over Moscow that day - the weather made its own adjustments to the protocol. However, even without aviation, the guests of the ceremony had something to see.

Military fashion and debutants

The air in the capital by 09.30 am barely warmed up to 2-3 degrees. Due to the strong wind on Red Square, the situation turned out, to be sure, "as close as possible to combat." In order not to freeze the personnel of the walking parade crews for how much in vain, the command allowed the servicemen to put on winter spotted pea jackets before the ceremony. So before the construction, all the participants in the celebration looked about the same, with the exception of the fighters of the 61st separate Kirkenes Marine Brigade. The marines of the Northern Fleet, taking part in the parade in Moscow for the first time, stood calmly in the piercing wind in their light black uniforms and, it seems, did not even move. In the village of Sputnik in the Murmansk region, where this unit is based, frosts are, to put it mildly, even stronger.

The Marines of the Northern Fleet have fully earned the honor of representing their brigade on Red Square on May 9. During the Great Patriotic War, they fought against the Wehrmacht troops in Karelia, participated in the pursuit of the enemy in the Kandalaksha and Kestenga directions, and took the Norwegian Kirkines. During the first Chechen campaign, soldiers and officers of the 61st brigade, together with motorized rifles and special forces, took Grozny. The photograph of the St. Andrew's flag flying over Dudayev's palace was at that time bypassed all the world's leading media.

Debuted on May 9 and less experienced, but no less promising participants. This year, for the first time, the ceremonial squad of the Yunarmiya military-patriotic movement, created on the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, DOSAAF and the Central Army Sports Club, passed through Red Square. To date, the ranks of this organization include about 30 thousand young Russians aged 11 to 18 years. The young patriots took to the parade in bright red berets and unusual sand-colored camouflage, similar to that worn by the Russian military in Syria.

The military personnel of the Combined Arms Academy and the Academy of the Aerospace Forces demonstrated new tunics with a stand-up collar. But most of all, the audience greeted the girls in uniform: the parade crew of the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the first time walked along the cobblestones of Red Square in blue jackets, white skirts and black boots. Previously, all women's "boxes" taking part in the Victory Parade were dressed in white uniforms.***

The musical accompaniment is also worth mentioning. This year, the consolidated thousand-pipe orchestra was led by Colonel Timofey Mayakin, who replaced General Valery Khalilov, who died on December 25, 2016, the permanent conductor of the Victory Parades. Nevertheless, Valery Mikhailovich was mentioned at the ceremony: by order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 30, 2016, his name was given to the Moscow Military Music School, whose pupils - a company of drummers - traditionally opened the foot part of the parade.

New technology

There were few new models of military equipment at the Victory Parade in Moscow, but more than last year. For the first time, the general public was shown vehicles designed specifically for our Arctic group. These are Pantsir-SA short-range anti-aircraft missile and gun systems and Tor-M2DT short-range anti-aircraft missile systems. Both systems are mounted on the basis of two-link tracked all-terrain vehicles DT-30 Vityaz. This choice of chassis significantly increased the mobility and maneuverability of anti-aircraft systems, which can now overcome water barriers and independently “break through” their way through the fields of hummocks. "Pantsir-SA" and "Tor-M2DT" were the only models of equipment that passed through Red Square in winter camouflage colors, standing out sharply against the background of combat vehicles painted in the usual green.

A couple of new products were also shown by the Ground Forces. The motorized riflemen demonstrated the Tigr-M vehicles, the latest modification of armored vehicles, which are gradually replacing obsolete UAZ vehicles from the troops. A new YaMZ 5347-10 diesel engine, a new armored hood, a filter-ventilation unit were installed on the car, the number of seats was increased to 9, the turntable with a double-leaf hatch was replaced with one square-shaped hinged hatch. All these changes are dictated by the experience of the combat use of the "Tigers" in "hot spots".

Tankers rolled out T-72B3M tanks to the parade. On these combat vehicles, the Relikt dynamic protection complex and lattice anti-cumulative screens are installed on the engine compartment and the “back of the head” of the tower. In addition, this machine has improved the operation of the automatic loader, the engine has been significantly strengthened, and the fire control system (FCS), according to open sources, has been replaced with the latest Kalina. This MSA is installed, in particular, on the promising T-14 Armata tank. It is assumed that until the latter begins to massively enter the troops, the T-72B3M and T-90 will form the basis of the tank fleet of the Russian army.

Traditional analysis of the ritual and organizational component of the Victory Parade on Red Square in 2017.
This is a post-Soviet parade №24 (since 1995).

Arctic parade with arctic equipment and the same temperature (photo kp.ru)

1. This time the guest of the parade is the President of Moldova I. Dodon. Then after Putin comes Dm. Medvedev. The clothes are warm, almost everyone is in coats and jackets. Putin is also not in a jacket, as usual - but in a coat. Cloudy and gloomy, no sun and +2 degrees. Raindrops periodically appear on the cameras. Coldest year since 1978.

2. The mausoleum is disguised. Russia-1 is broadcasting incl. and from the Spasskaya Tower, from where the closing superstructure and its structure are clearly visible from the inside.

3. Ceremonial of bringing in flags - the State Flag of the Russian Federation is the first, the Banner of Victory is the second. The exception was in the anniversary year of 2015, when the Victory Banner was brought in first. The banner group comes out to the music "Get up, huge country, get up for a mortal battle!".

4. This is the fifth parade of Minister S.K. Shoigu. The parade is commanded by Colonel-General Oleg Salyukov, commander of the Ground Forces - for the third time. Shoigu at the exit of the Spasskaya Tower in the car traditionally overshadows himself with the sign of the cross.

5. Dress uniform has changed! The officers have standing collars and "coil" buttonholes, as in the late Stalin era. The tie uniform is gone. Unusual :) Shoigu has a large cruciform order with a coat of arms ("Merit" II degree) in the central place.

6. Oh, Putin took off his coat before Shoigu's report! Now in a jacket, endures drizzle. All those present on the podium have St. George ribbons pinned on their chests.

7. Putin's speech: The Soviet Union is mentioned at the beginning as the leading force in the resistance against Nazi Germany. Reads a speech from a piece of paper with large letters. The phrase " Russian, Russian soldier". With "Victory Day", he concluded without the prefix "Soviet people" and "great".

8. Pseudo-generals and fake heroes in the stands: not directly noticed. If anyone notices something suspicious - be sure to write in the comments.

9. Young pupils of the music school with white drums open the parade. From the Suvorovites come the guys from the Tver SVU, then the Nakhimovites from St. Petersburg. Let me remind you that during the time of Serdyukov (the end of the 2000s), the Suvorovites at the parade were canceled.

10. The column of the "Yunarmiya" (is it something like the Soviet DOSAAF, apparently?) - something new. In sand uniform and red berets.

Members of the Yunarmiya (photo kp.ru)

11. For the first time in the parade - the Kirkenes brigade of marines of the Northern Fleet, as a symbol of the Arctic presence of Russia.

12. The second time there is a large column of only women- Military Institute of Logistics of the city of Volsk, from the Military Academy. Khruleva. But this time we added second a female column from the Mozhaisky Academy, in a blue dress uniform with "coils".

13. Putin and the guests of the main tribune in front of the passing troops stand. The shameful precedent of Medvedev's "sit-down" parade in 2010 and the public reaction to it have been learned.

14. Soviet banners, as a double of modern ones, have been preserved, they are also carried in the heads of the resp. columns. They didn't remove it.

Soviet banners in columns (photo kp.ru)

15. Border guards, sailors, etc. they go without "coils" - apparently, the new parade is valid only for the ground forces of the RF Armed Forces.

15a. This time, during the passage of the VKS column, they did not play "Higher, and higher, and higher ..."

16. The calculation of the National Guard of Russia (former Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) in the new status is the second time. The name of F. Dzerzhinsky is retained in the title of the division. The title of the division named after Yu. Andropov (coming a little later) is also preserved.

17. Cossacks among the columns were not noticed, for the second year in a row - the Aksai corps was pushed back. There are no horsemen as exotic either.

18. Medvedev on the main podium is fourth to the right of Putin. Next to the President of Russia - a Moldavian and the military. Young cadets were not assigned to them "to dilute the picture" this time.

19. Was Mikhail Gorbachev seen in the stands? Was last year. Write if anyone noticed it.

20. It is curious that the leaders of the country continue to stand at the passage of equipment. Last year (2016) we sat down and watched this part of the parade while sitting. In Soviet times, the leaders at the Mausoleum also stood all the time. But before the flight of aircraft, everyone sits down.

21. "Armata" T-14s are on parade for the third time. Then come artillery systems in ascending calibers and then air defense missiles.

22. For the first time in the parade - Arctic troops in white camouflage, with polar bears on the bodies of vehicles. See also item 12. As a symbol of increased attention to the Arctic.

23. Emblems on vehicles are uniform. An "empty" star with a red border placed on top of the St. George ribbon. And new: orders of parts right on the hull.

24. From the Strategic Missile Forces come "Yars" (also a new generation, later "Topol"). Then new armored personnel carriers "Boomerang" drive, the passage of vehicles is completed.

25. Then the orchestra sings a cappella "We are the army of the country, we are the army of the people" and leaves the square under "Farewell of the Slav". Everyone gets up. Putin says goodbye to the veterans on the podium, all this is shown very briefly and little.

26. There is no air parade. . Canceled due to overcast and unusually cold weather.

27. After the parade, Putin (in a black raincoat) greets all the commanders of the parade columns and shakes hands with them (without Medvedev). A youth army commander in a red beret looks very unusual. Two women are the heads of the columns. Shoigu follows him and also shakes hands with everyone. It's raining, there are drops on the cameras.

28. But the broadcast is not interrupted. Immediately they show the wreath-laying ceremony at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. In the front row - Putin and Dodon.

UPD. And yet, it is interesting what prompted the officers to return to the Stalinist dress uniform with a stand-up collar and "reel" buttonholes, without ties? There has not been such a style in parades since 1955, sort of.

High-quality military clothing is the key to high combat effectiveness of the army. The modern Russian military uniform meets all the requirements: it is comfortable, reliable and functional. A new military uniform was released in our country in 2020, and now every soldier of the armed forces is equipped with it.

Military uniforms are divided into three main types:

  • Front - used during ceremonial events (at parades, during military holidays, at ceremonies for receiving military awards, etc.);
  • Field - used during hostilities, service, providing assistance to civilians during natural disasters, etc .;
  • Office - used in cases not related to the first two categories.

Global reform of the form of the Russian army

The modern history of Russia has several unsuccessful attempts to change the uniforms of military personnel. While in our country a lot of money was spent on unsuccessful experiments, in the US Army, military clothing became more comfortable, its performance characteristics increased, and innovative materials were used in the production of clothing.

The modern military uniform began its journey in 2007, when Anatoly Serdyukov held the post of Minister of Defense. It was then that a large-scale sketch competition was organized, in which thousands of designers from all over the country took part. The Ministry of Defense awarded the victory to the famous designer Valentin Yudashkin.

For the next two years, specialists were engaged in the development of final versions of a new army uniform, intended for further equipment of the Russian army. The result was a set of clothes, in many ways similar to American uniforms. The developers did not agree with this opinion, although many factors spoke precisely in favor of this comparison.

Winter military uniforms caused particular dissatisfaction. She did not protect the soldiers from the cold. For this reason, the Ministry of Defense received many complaints every day about the inadequate quality of the winter kit. This led to an outbreak of colds among the military. There were also complaints about the appearance of the uniform: some stylistic decisions were copied from kits from other countries. The stumbling block was the quality of the fabric and threads: new military clothing quickly fell into disrepair.

Negative reviews, dissatisfaction with soldiers and army specialists made the Ministry of Defense think about changing the equipment. The decision to take American clothes as a basis was erroneous, such suits did not fit the conditions of our country. A new set of military uniforms, developed subsequently, consisted of 19 parts. The approximate cost of one set is 35 thousand rubles. The parade version did not suffer any special changes, since it is the field uniform that is of particular importance.

New field military uniform of the RF Armed Forces

The first change that caught your eye was the change in the location of the shoulder straps on the uniform. In 2010, the "NATO" version was proposed, shoulder straps in it were located on the "belly". Many servicemen did not like this, as they were "used to seeing epaulettes on their shoulders." Chevrons on the uniform are located on both sleeves. The addition was the appearance of fitted overcoats, quickly fastened elements of clothing with Velcro. For the first time in history, Russian officers received warm sweaters. It was not possible to completely replace footcloths and boots.

Valentin Yudashkin was blamed for the failed project of a new military suit. In 2012, he spoke to reporters and stated that the clothes adopted for use are very different from his version. In particular, in order to reduce the cost, materials were replaced with lower quality ones. Journalists came to the conclusion that only the appearance remained from the version of the fashion designer.

The new generation military uniform was developed based on the feedback of thousands of soldiers from all over the country. The shape of the sun has become multi-layered. This allows each soldier to independently choose the necessary elements of clothing, guided by the goals and objectives set for him, as well as weather conditions.

The modified VKPO kit includes a basic suit, several types of jackets, boots for different seasons and much more, including a balaclava, a synthetic belt and quality socks. Tailoring of military uniforms is carried out from a blended fabric, which includes 65% cotton and 35% polymer materials.

Russian military clothing of the new model was in every soldier at the end of 2020, as previously planned by the Ministry of Defense. The change of equipment took place in three stages. In 2013, 100,000 new kits were issued, in 2014 - 400,000 and in 2020 - 500,000. For 3 years, a million military personnel were provided.

The complete rejection of footcloths deserves special attention. Modern military uniforms include 12 pairs of socks for one soldier, which he wears for a year. In the near future, it is planned to increase the number of pairs per military man to 24 pieces.

VKPO sets for wearing at different atmospheric temperatures

The military uniform of the new sample is presented in two sets:

  • Basic uniform for wearing at temperatures above +15 degrees Celsius;
  • Multi-layer system for wearing at temperatures from +15 to -40 degrees Celsius.

In winter, soldiers wear lightweight or fleece underwear sets. They are selected depending on the air temperature. In particularly cold areas, both sets of underwear can be worn one on top of the other.

For equipment in the summer season, trousers, a jacket, a beret and boots are used. The surface of the garment is carefully treated with an innovative solution that repels moisture. It allows clothes to stay dry in the rain for up to two hours. For protection against mechanical influences, military clothing is equipped with reinforcing elements. Such kits are used in parts with a high degree of load.

The rules for wearing military uniforms allow the use of a fleece jacket in the autumn season: excellent thermal insulation is ensured by the pile with which it is covered on both sides. From strong winds, a windbreaker jacket is worn with trousers of the fifth layer.

For the autumn period, a demi-season military suit is intended. The material from which it is made provides reliable protection from the wind, a good degree of vapor permeability and dries quickly after getting wet. During heavy rains, it is permissible to use a wind and water protection kit. The membrane and reliable sizing of the layers provide reliable protection against moisture.

In winter, a warm jacket and vest are worn, which protect against moisture and wind. Despite the high degree of protection against frost, they are light and practical. For very low temperatures, a warm hat and balaclava are provided.

Modern full dress military uniform of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

The design basis of the dress uniform has not changed for many years, as it still meets modern requirements and at the same time pays tribute to history. Only some elements have been replaced in recent years due to their obsolescence. Dress uniforms are worn at parades, holidays, when receiving military awards, etc.

In the Russian army, there are three approaches to the formation of such a set of uniforms:

  • Traditional. Clothing sets include elements created back in the 19th century. A good example is the ceremonial set of the Presidential Regiment of the Russian Federation - their costumes are identical to the uniform of the Imperial Guard, adopted in 1907;
  • Modern. The cut of the dress uniform corresponds to the daily set, the same colors can be used. For example, in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the color of the ceremonial tunic matches the everyday one. Everyday elements are complemented by ceremonial elements;
  • Universal. The color of the ceremonial suit may be the same as the everyday one, but the colors of the ceremonial elements must be different without fail.

The parade uniform in strict order must comply with the following standards:

  • The stylist of the military uniform of the military personnel of the Russian Army must be observed;
  • A military dress for parade purposes should be strict and elegant;
  • In production, only high-quality materials should be used.

Changes to the design of the dress uniform are rarely made, its main style is determined by history. Various optional items may change each year. A change in the materials used in production is only permissible if it improves the quality and performance of the suit.

Noteworthy is the general's ceremonial attire. It is also similar to a casual suit, but has a different color scheme. The color of the dress uniform is gray, worn with bluish trousers and black boots. There are patches on the collar and cuffs.

Everyday uniform of military personnel

The color of the daily uniform depends on the rank and affiliation. Military clothing of the Russian army of everyday type for generals and officers is olive in color, in the Air Force - blue. Caps match the color of the outfit. The color scheme was based on the 1988 pattern. The decorative elements on the caps are painted gold. Men's winter clothes have not changed since the last reform.

Girls in military uniform can now feel comfortable. Dresses and skirts comfortably fit the body, emphasizing feminine beauty. Women's military clothing - olive or blue. In the winter season, a short, fitted coat is used. Female sergeants and enlisted men wear an olive daily uniform. In the warm season, there should be a cap on the head, in winter - an astrakhan beret introduced by the latest reform.

Sergeants, soldiers and cadets of everyday uniforms are deprived due to uselessness. Alternatively, they are encouraged to wear winter or summer field gear.

The military uniform of this type in the winter period of the year provides for a gray coat for military personnel (blue for the Air Force and Airborne Forces). For the autumn period, a blue demi-season jacket is provided, for rains in the summer season - an elongated raincoat that does not allow moisture to pass through. Black coloring for additional items of clothing (belt, boots and socks).

Modern office uniform of the Russian army

Such a set of clothes is a kind of everyday wear, used by generals, officers and employees of the Ministry of Defense of certain ranks. A military suit of this kind resembles the everyday clothes of the Ministry of Emergencies. The kit includes:

  • Soft cap. All military units - green, airborne units were left with a blue beret;
  • Cap-colored shirt with long or short sleeves (the choice depends on the weather). Velcro straps can be attached to the shoulders, a tie is not applicable;
  • White T-shirt (worn under the shirt);
  • Cap-colored trousers and straight-cut shirts.

In the cold season with an office uniform, the use of a warm jacket is acceptable. It is possible to attach an additional hood. The cap can be replaced with a warm hat with earflaps. Velcro straps are attached to the shoulders of the costume.

Each year, the office uniform undergoes minor changes. These include the introduction and abolition of various costume sewing, changing the shape of insignia, etc. It is forbidden to use an office suit as a field suit. Care and rules for wearing military uniforms

The rules for wearing military uniforms are regulated by order 1500 - the suit must always be clean. To keep it that way, you need to know about some of the intricacies of caring for it. Improper washing or drying can spoil the appearance, which will lead to official troubles. Before cleaning clothes, read the information on the label.

Woolen clothes are recommended to be washed by hand in warm water. If this is not possible, then you can use the washing machine, but the washing mode should be the most gentle. Military clothing sizes can become smaller if washed with hot water. Wringing wool products is prohibited.

Everyday military equipment is less whimsical to care for. It can be washed in the washing machine in any mode with any detergent. In addition, a casual suit is able to withstand water of any temperature.

It is not recommended to clean a beautiful dress uniform at home. This process is best entrusted to professionals in the dry cleaning service.

The new Russian military clothing, put into service in 2020, surpasses the previous generation in all respects. This became possible after the refusal to copy the American design, unsuitable for the climatic conditions of our country. The military uniform of the Russian Federation is considered one of the best in the world.

As reported IA REGNUM, in Alabino near Moscow, training of foot crews for the Victory Parade near the walls of the Kremlin is being held. 10,000 servicemen are rehearsing a well-coordinated step and rebuilding on the site, which is an exact model of Red Square.

By tradition, servicemen, cadets, students of the Suvorov and Nakhimov military schools will march in the column. For the first time, members of the Yunarmiya, members of the public movement, created on the initiative of the Minister of Defense, will also take part in the parade.

Also, for the first time at the Victory Parade on May 9, a mechanized column of the military police of the Russian Armed Forces will pass through Red Square

Background

Day of celebration of the end of the Great Patriotic War and the victory of the Soviet army. It is celebrated annually on May 9 in Russia, the CIS countries and many others. Festive events often include festivities, military parades, fireworks, and themed performances.

An important tradition of the holiday was the holding of the action "Immortal Regiment", which swept the whole world. On this day, people take to the streets with portraits of their warring relatives and follow a predetermined route, sing war songs or silently pay tribute to the memory of fallen heroes.

The Immortal Regiment has been held annually since 2012. Every year the number of countries in which the processions of the "Immortal Regiment" are held increases.

The Ministry of Defense will change all officers into a new dress uniform. Soldiers and officers in it marched for the first time on Red Square at the Victory Parade in 2017. Then the military department said that the new uniform is a replica of the uniforms of the Soviet army at the 1945 Victory Parade. However, she began to enter the troops only from the summer of this year. It began to be issued to all army officers. Changes in dress uniform will affect only the Ministry of Defense and will not affect other law enforcement agencies. According to military experts, the new dress uniform emphasizes the continuity of generations in the army, so it will be approved by society.

As Izvestia was told in the Ministry of Defense, the department developed amendments to the Presidential Decree of March 11, 2010 "On military uniforms, insignia of servicemen and departmental insignia." The list of military uniforms listed in the document includes a dress uniform with a tunic, where there is a stand-up collar. The new uniform should go to the troops this summer.

The main feature of the new ceremonial uniform will be a single-breasted navy-colored tunic with a rigid stand-up collar. The collar will be complemented with historical lapel emblems, sewn in golden color. These are signs in the form of a rectangle with protruding bases, they resemble the signs of the Russian guards of the XIX model. centuries. In addition to the collar, these elements will also appear on the cuffs of the sleeves.

The general's tunic with a standing collar will be decorated with signs in the form of a golden laurel branch. The sewing will use threads containing five percent gold. The clothing department of the Ministry of Defense will provide naval officers with an emblem depicting a traditional Admiralty anchor.

The parade uniform must change and develop. Now the defense department is looking for the most acceptable option by trial and error, military expert Vladislav Shurygin told Izvestia.

Dress uniform is a special form of clothing that should have deep historical roots, he stressed. - It is no coincidence that the appearance of the new tunic reads an obvious reference to the first Victory Parade. This is following tradition. Thus, the continuity of generations in the army is emphasized and the prestige of military service is increased. The new form will receive approval in society. So it cannot be ruled out that she will be able to take root in the troops.

Since the Great Patriotic War, the dress uniform of the color of the sea wave has been sewn with a standing collar. It was lined with white fabric. This uniform can be seen on the participants of the Victory Parade, held in Moscow on June 24, 1945. In the 1960s, the rack was abolished. It was replaced by a turn-down collar, a white shirt and colored buttonholes of the armed forces.

In 1994, he signed a decree "On military uniforms and insignia for military ranks" - formally on this day, the Soviet military uniform was canceled. The appearance of the military has undergone significant changes. The reform was reduced to simplifying the set of uniforms to a minimum. The main color of the entire uniform was olive. In fact, it was decided to abandon the dress uniform. In order to give the servicemen a festive look, gold shoulder straps and an aglet were sewn onto everyday uniforms.

In 2008, under Anatoly Serdyukov, the military department took the initiative to change the entire uniform set. Leading Russian designers, including Valentin Yudashkin, were involved in the development of the form. Then, for the first time in history, tarpaulin boots and footcloths disappeared from the uniform set of privates. They were replaced by high lace-up boots and regular socks. And gold embroidery appeared on the general's uniforms. Then they undertook a hitch to restore historical tunics. True, they were still without collars with a stand, but they still returned the color of the sea wave. In order for the ceremonial tunics to return to the world-famous uniforms of 1945, it took another 10 years.
