“Since the RONO of city N and the regional Ministry of Education (at the place of registration and residence) do not give me the necessary answer, I ask you to consider my situation in a higher institution - the Ministry of Education Russian Federation. The fact is that I graduated from the Gymnasium in 2012 (externally), passed the exam, entered the university, studied there with honors, but this year I expelled of my own free will, because I decided to enter a medical university. To do this, of course, I need to pass the USE 2014 (in subjects: Russian, chemistry, biology). The problem is that at the end of May - June 2014. I am planning a vital medical operation with an approximate rehabilitation period of 2-4 weeks, and this is just the period of passing the exam. I know that there is an opportunity to pass exams ahead of schedule, approximately in April, but in the RONO mountains. N and the Regional Ministry of Education refuse this request, because I am not a graduate this year. I ask you to allow me to pass the USE ahead of schedule, as well as tell me where to submit the documents and in what time frame.

The official response of Rosobrnadzor:

In accordance with the Procedure for conducting the state final certification (hereinafter referred to as the GIA) for educational programs middle general education The GIA for compulsory subjects (Russian language and mathematics) begins no earlier than May 25 of the current year, for other subjects - no earlier than April 20 of the current year.

According to the Procedure for students, graduates of previous years, sent for medical reasons to medical and preventive medical organizations for medical and recreational and rehabilitation activities during the period of the GIA, upon presentation of a referral issued by the medical and preventive medical organization, the GIA for compulsory academic subjects by decision Chairman of the SEC is held ahead of schedule, but not earlier than April 20.

In other words, if for medical reasons you are unable to participate in the main period of the exam, you have every right to take the exam ahead of schedule, but only upon presentation of a medical referral.

To participate in the Unified State Exam, you must submit an application to the place of registration for the unified state exam before March 1, indicating the list of subjects for which you plan to take exams this year. Also, when applying, you must present the original document on education.

Places of registration for passing the exam are determined by the educational authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. A list of these places should be posted on the official websites of regional education authorities.

In addition, we draw your attention to the fact that, according to the law "On Education in the Russian Federation", admission to universities for undergraduate and specialist programs in 2014 is allowed based on the results of the USE in 2012, confirmed by a certificate of the results of the USE, issued in 2012 and valid until the end 2016.

Passing the unified state exam is an important step in the life of every graduate. For some, this is a formality that allows you to receive a document on education, and for someone - the opportunity to successfully enter the desired university in the country. But, sometimes fate makes unexpected adjustments in a person’s life. So, in 2017, 3.4% of all USE participants could not overcome the barrier required to obtain a certificate. An even greater number failed to gain the scores required for admission to highly rated universities. What to do if I “flunked” the exam and is a second attempt possible?

Until 2017, the right to retake the exam was granted only to persons who did not overcome the minimum threshold for compulsory subjects, on the passing of which the receipt of a certificate depends.

One of the important innovations of 2017 was the possibility of retaking any subject submitted to the exam. Thus, in 2018 it will be possible to get a second attempt in Russian, mathematics, physics, computer science, literature, chemistry, biology, geography, social studies, history or foreign languages.

It is important to take into account the following facts:

  1. You can only retake 1 exam.
  2. You can now try to retake an item twice.
  3. You can retake one subject if there is a good reason for that (documentary evidence is required) or if you wish (in order to increase the score, you can retake the exam next year).
  4. Graduates of previous years who took part in the preliminary or main session of the Unified State Exam-2018 and received an unsatisfactory score do not receive the right to retake.
  5. If a graduate is not allowed to retake in 2018, he can retake the exam in a year.

Dates for retaking the exam in 2018

In 2018, it will be possible to retake one of the USE subjects, which was not submitted the first time, twice:

  • 1 retake - in the summer on the reserve days indicated in the USE calendar;
  • 2 retake - in September 2018.

Thus, by increasing the score to the desired one by 1 attempt, you can have time to apply to the university on the main wave. After 2 retakes, it is unlikely to enter the budget. But, this is another chance for those for whom the issue of obtaining a document on education remains open. Although, many universities, in which there is a shortage of applicants for budget places, sometimes conduct an additional set in the autumn months.

The validity of the USE certificate 2018 is 4 years. This means that after passing the exam on the 3rd attempt, the graduate gets a chance to enter the desired university next year according to the exam results already in hand.

The dates for the early, main and autumn sessions of the final exams in 2018 are set by ORDER of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 1099 dated November 10, 2017 year, the full text of which can be viewed.

Who will be eligible to retake the exam in 2018

According to the new rules in 2018, the retake of any subject of the exam is possible in such cases:

  1. unsatisfactory result;
  2. failure to appear for an exam for a good reason (documentary evidence is required);
  3. incomplete test (for a good reason: poor health of the examinee, state of emergency at the site conducting the exam and etc.);
  4. cancellation of the test result (not through the fault of the examinee).

A weighty reason for non-attendance means: illness or planned surgery (confirmation - a certificate from a doctor), a car accident, death of a close relative and other similar situations.

Who will not be able to retake exams in 2018

Such a chance as retake the exam- a great gift for all applicants in 2018. But, in some cases, graduates may be deprived of this right. You will not be able to use the second attempt if:

  1. The examinee will be removed from the audience for a gross violation of the rules (cheating, using a telephone, a programmable calculator, communicating with neighbors, etc.).
  2. The result of the exam will be canceled due to the fault of the examinee (for example, when the facts of violation of the rules are revealed after watching the archived video).
  3. An unsatisfactory result was obtained in two subjects at once.
  4. In the case of a graduate of previous years gaining a score below the minimum level for the subject.
  5. In case of missing an exam without a valid reason (overslept, forgot, stuck in a traffic jam…)

Naturally, all the situations listed in this paragraph should be avoided. Rely on your own knowledge, not cheat sheets or modern technical means. Prepare well for your exam and don't let anxiety get in the way of your dream!

What to do when transfer is not possible in 2018

If it so happened that you got into that small percentage of graduates who could not successfully pass the exam on three attempts or missed one of the USE exams without good reason, do not lose heart and even more so panic. Consider the situation from the other side. Whatever happens, you have the right to try your luck next year. Moreover, in 2019 you will only have to take the exam, the result of which turned out to be unsatisfactory or does not suit you.

In many European countries and the United States has such a thing as a “gap year”, or “break year”. Many graduates take a breather before entering the university.

How can you make good use of this time?

  1. consider choosing a profession;
  2. prepare for exams;
  3. relax and gain strength;
  4. earn some money;
  5. learn to enjoy life!

Failing an exam doesn't put an end to your dreams, it just gives you a break. Perhaps this is a sign and you just chose the wrong direction? And if the desired profession is your destiny, then this unfortunate misunderstanding will not be able to block your path to success.

Remember, it is by overcoming obstacles that a person tempers character and acquires life wisdom!

The early stage of the exam has begun. According to Rosobrnadzor, more than 40 thousand people are registered on it. In the main period, according to preliminary data, more than 720 thousand people will take part in the exams, of which 638 thousand are graduates of the current year.

Last year, 44 thousand people signed up for the early period.

Most of those who will come to the early stage are graduates of previous years. Eleventh-graders are allowed to take the exam ahead of time if, for good reasons, they cannot get into the main wave.

Anyone who goes to take the exam in the early period must master by this time all school curriculum and pass certification in all subjects. Usually, athletes, graduates who leave for international olympiads, or students who will be on treatment during the main stage participate in the early stage.

Our task is to keep the achieved high level of the USE, and I ask the ministers to personally supervise the early stage: monitor the conduct of all exams in great detail and carefully, - the head of Rosobrnadzor, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Sergey Kravtsov addressed the regional ministers.

If you didn’t pass the exams on the reserve days, then you can retake the Russian language and mathematics in September

Particular attention should be paid to the scanning of forms, video surveillance during the exam, and the creation of conditions for graduates with disabilities.

Those who came to the early stage will not be allowed to retake the exam of their choice in the main wave. This can only be done next year. But the mandatory exams - Russian language and mathematics - can be retaken on reserve days if the student has not scored the minimum score.

“If it is not possible to pass exams on reserve days, then the mandatory Russian language and basic-level mathematics can be retaken in September,” the Rosobrnadzor reminded. As a rule, the most popular elective subjects in the Unified State Examination are social science, which is chosen by more than 50 percent, history (about 20 percent), biology (18 percent), physics, and foreign languages.

What's new at the USE-2018?

Russian language: the examination paper includes a basic level task that tests knowledge of the lexical norms of modern Russian literary language. Maximum primary score for completing all work increased from 57 to 58.

Social studies: task 28 assessment system has been revised. Task 29 wording has been clarified and its assessment system has been changed. The maximum primary score for completing the entire job has been increased from 62 to 64.

References: the requirements for completing tasks 9 and 16 have been clarified (the requirement to justify the choice of an example for comparison has been canceled). The fourth theme of the essay has been introduced. The criteria for evaluating the performance of tasks with a detailed answer have been completely revised (8, 9, 15, 16, 17). The maximum score for the entire work has been increased from 42 to 57 points.

    As far as I remember, athletes who leave for competitions, as well as young people already drafted into the army, evening school students and, of course, for health reasons, usually pass exams (including the Unified State Examination) ahead of schedule.

    Here is a list of students who can apply for an early exam, or rather, they can send an application for early testing:

    • you go to contests, competitions and other events,
    • you are leaving for a foreign country,
    • you are going to a medical institution for treatment, to a sanatorium, dispensary, etc. for health,

    5. Well, those who are going to live or study abroad.
  • Graduates have the right to take the unified state exam ahead of schedule if there is a good reason. These reasons are as follows:

    • being treated in a hospital during the exam;

    • moving abroad for study or permanent residence;
    • evening education.

    As expected, for early delivery For the above reasons, the USE is required to provide relevant supporting documents to the educational institution.

    Good luck with the unified state exam!

    To pass the Unified State Exam ahead of schedule, the following grounds are required:

    1. If you are a graduate of an evening school and received a summons to the army.
    2. If you are leaving for Russian or international competitions, olympiads, competitions, sports camps.
    3. If you are leaving for permanent residence or continuing education abroad.

    To pass the Unified State Exam ahead of schedule, you must write an application at your educational institution or the nearest exam reception point (PET). Application deadlines are strict:

    Until March 1 those who plan to participate in the exam on the main dates (May-June) or ahead of schedule (April) must write applications.

    This paragraph was amended in 2015. Starting this year, everyone who has received admission to attestation can take the exam ahead of schedule. If these are graduates of previous years, it is enough to have a certificate for 11 classes. If a person graduated from college, you need to write an essay in literature and get credit for it. If we are talking about a student in grade 11, then he must have all satisfactory grades for grade 10 (well, a credit for writing, of course).

    But there will be no July (university) stage this year.

    Below are all the cases when it is possible and possible to take the exam ahead of schedule

    It's good that Russia has provided a lot.

    Only it’s bad that because of this some people manage to cheat, I don’t know how it works, but last year it somehow happened.

    The opportunity to pass the Unified State Exam is provided to the following categories of students. They have the right to choose between early and main exams -

    Write an application to the director of the educational institution, and indicate any of these reasons.

    a graduate of an evening (shift) educational institution;

    are called up for military service before the standard date for passing the exam;

    you are leaving for Russian or international sports competitions, competitions, reviews, olympiads and training camps;

    you leave for a permanent place of residence or to continue your studies in a foreign country;

    are sent for medical reasons to a medical and preventive or other institution for medical, recreational and rehabilitation measures during the period of the Unified State Examination;

    a graduate of a Russian educational institution located outside the territory of the Russian Federation, in states with difficult climatic conditions.

Those who have already fully mastered the school curriculum have the unconditional right to independently choose between the early and the main wave of passing the unified state exam. It:

  • graduates of past years, regardless of the "statute of limitations" of the certificate (those who left the school many years ago and last year's graduates who want to improve their results have the right to take early exams);

  • graduates of technical schools, lyceums and colleges, who have already fully completed the development of the course of a general education school.

In addition, some categories of eleventh-graders also have the right to take the exam without waiting for the end of the last academic year. These include:

  • Graduates evening schools who this year will go to military service;

  • children who, after graduation from school, leave for permanent residence in another country, regardless of whether in question about emigration or a student visa to continue education in foreign university or college;

  • participants of all-Russian or international competitions, olympiads or competitions - if the period of competitions or training camps coincides with the main stage of passing the exam;

  • eleventh-graders who in May-June will be in sanatoriums and other medical institutions on health-improving or rehabilitation programs;

  • Graduates Russian schools located outside the borders of Russia - if they are located in areas with difficult climatic conditions.

In order to be able to take the exam ahead of schedule, eleventh-graders must write an application addressed to the director of their school, indicating the reason.

The main advantages of passing the exam in the early period

There is a common myth that the USE options for the early period are easier than for the main one. This is not the case, the level of difficulty of the options for all examinees of the current year is similar. However, some organizational features of the spring "wave" do allow some to achieve higher scores.

Less people - less nerves

The early period for passing the exam is incomparable in terms of mass with the main one. For example, in 2016, throughout Russia, 26,000 people passed exams ahead of schedule - and in the summer "wave" the number of examinees approached 700,000. As a result, not hundreds of extremely excited schoolchildren gather in megacities at exam points - but only a few dozen people ( and in smaller settlements the account of “early-timers” can also go to units). In addition, some graduates of previous years who applied for the exam may change their mind by the day of the exam and not appear for the test - as a result, 6-8 examiners can sit in an audience designed for 15 people. Moreover, some of them will be adults who usually perceive the exam than the average schoolchildren, “wound up” by numerous conversations that the USE will decide their fate.

This makes the overall psychological situation during the exam an order of magnitude less nervous. And, as the experience of many graduates shows, the ability to calm down and concentrate during the passing of the exam plays a decisive role. In addition, with a small number of applicants, the time for preliminary briefing and “organizational questions” is significantly reduced: printing and distributing tasks, checking the coincidence of bar codes, monitoring the completion of forms, and so on. And this also reduces the "degree of excitement."

Clear organization

Early delivery of the exam is considered the official start of the examination campaign. At this time, only a few examination points are working in the regions, while great attention is paid to the organization of work in them. Therefore, despite the fact that it is during the early period that all procedural innovations are usually “run in”, failures, technical problems and organizational violations usually do not occur. And the probability of encountering, for example, a lack of additional forms or the absence of hours in the audience tends to zero.

Predictable microclimate in the classroom

Taking exams at the end of May and June is fraught with another danger - on hot days it can be very stuffy in the exam room, and the direct rays of the summer sun can add discomfort. At the same time, the organizers of the exams do not always agree to open the windows. In the spring, during the heating season, the air temperature in the classroom is more predictable, and you can always dress “for the weather” so that you don’t get cold and sweat during the exam.

Quick check

During the early period of the Unified State Examination, the workload on experts checking papers is much lower - and, accordingly, papers are checked faster. It’s still not worth waiting for the results the next day after the exams - the official deadlines for checking the work of the early period are usually 7-9 days, while the scores can be published a couple of days before the deadline. During the main period, students usually have to wait USE results about two weeks.

Time to develop an admissions strategy

Those who pass the USE ahead of schedule already by the end of April know their results for sure - and they have another two months to analyze in detail their chances of entering a particular university in the chosen direction, “targeting” go to open days and so on. And, even if the results turned out to be lower than expected, there is plenty of time to find a way out of this situation.

In addition, graduating students who “shoot back” with exams can spend the last two months of school life in a very relaxed way. While their classmates are diligently preparing for exams, writing samples and running around tutors, they can go about their business with a sense of accomplishment.

Disadvantages of early delivery of the exam

Less preparation time

The main disadvantage of passing the exam in the early period is obvious: the earlier the exam date, the less time for preparation. This may be especially important for graduates of the current year - after all, some topics school course included in the USE program can be studied in the fourth quarter of the last school year. In this case, you will have to get acquainted with them on your own, or with the help of a tutor.

The first "running in" of changes in the KIM USE

Control and measuring materials for most subjects are undergoing changes, and the early period for passing the exam is also the first of all innovations “in combat conditions”. During the preparation for the exams of the main period, the examinees and their teachers use as "official guidelines" both the FIPI demo version and the versions of the pre-terms published "after the fact". Those taking the exam in the spring are deprived of such an opportunity - they can use as an example of a set of tasks only demo version. Therefore, the chances of encountering an unexpected assignment during the early period are much higher.

Fewer opportunities to prepare

Schoolchildren taking exams in March-April do not have the opportunity to take part in trial exams, which usually take place at the very end of the school year. However, district departments of education usually conduct practice exams and more early dates- but most often this service is paid.

In addition, the use of services for self-preparation for the exam can also cause difficulties: laying out options corresponding to the KIM of the current year, the owners of such services, as a rule, are guided by the terms of the main period. And, if you are taking a subject that is expected to change dramatically this year, the chance that a month before the early exam you will be able to find a service with a sufficient number of “plausible” options that are well adapted to the exam of the current year is quite low.

Taking exams from home

Since the number of those taking the USE ahead of schedule is small, the number of examination points is also greatly reduced. For example, residents of all districts of a large (and geographically “scattered”) city can take the exam in this subject at only one point. And for those who live in remote or “problematic” areas of the city in terms of transport, this can be a serious disadvantage. Especially considering that exams in different subjects can be held in different places in the city, so the route and travel time will have to be recalculated each time.

A session at the university is the period of passing exams by students, after their six-month study at the university. The session is winter and summer, respectively, and for most students is one of the most difficult and responsible periods of study, but not for all. There are people for whom passing a session does not represent costs and incredible efforts. We will immediately exclude students who pay for exams from this list, this article is not about that.

Let's start with the fact that each student should ask himself the question why he came to this or that university. To get a diploma or to gain real knowledge that he will use throughout his life? People who study for a piece of cardboard that formally reflects their knowledge, as a rule, have a very hard time passing a session. They don't fulfill practical tasks, rarely appear in pairs. Hence the conclusion: study for the sake of gaining knowledge, attend all classes, write lectures, they will help you when passing the exam, and you do not have to read mountains of material from books. As a rule, answers to all exam questions can be found in the lecture notes that students write in lecture classes, and if you have all the notes, this will greatly facilitate your life while preparing for the exam. Reread at home the material that you wrote down at the lecture to consolidate it. Do not forget that teachers are your friends in terms of studying, and it is equally important for them that their students pass the session, so do not hesitate to clarify the points of the material that you do not understand, because then it can be very difficult to figure it out.

It's much easier to get an automatic credit than you think. The exception is perhaps the very first session of the first course. Here the student is checked how he is determined to learn. You will be required to attend classes and complete all tasks that are not difficult to complete if you have mastered the lecture material. Find out right away at the beginning of the school year which of the teachers puts the test automatically, and from which it is simply impossible to get it. Usually, teachers talk about this in the very first training sessions. Set a goal for yourself to get an automatic.

If possible, don't hesitate to write scientific report or other single work that is not given to all students. Grab it and try to connect the teacher, it will only play into your hands. You will earn the location of the teacher, you will be in sight, and with his help, make your work easier to a minimum.

Now let's move on to preparing for the exam. And the first picture that can appear in the imagination is the image of a student sitting at a table and surrounded by books at 3 o'clock in the morning on the very last day before the exam. This, of course, is also an option, but, frankly, not the easiest. To avoid this, do not postpone the preparation until the last day. Usually 3-4 days are given so that the student can fully prepare. Make a work plan for 3 days so that during this time all the questions are sorted out by you. At the consultation before the exam, ask questions that you could not understand. Thus, on the 4th day you will not have incomprehensible moments. Review the material and, most importantly, get enough sleep so that you wake up in the morning with a fresh head.
