A library is a cultural institution that stores books that are available for anyone to read. Schoolchildren, students, graduate students and all those who want to enrich themselves with new knowledge come here. Each library consists of several halls, the main of which are the lending departments and the reading room.

Behavior rules

People come to the library to work and gain new knowledge. There is an unspoken set of rules of behavior, etiquette, that operates in this institution. The rules of behavior in the library must be strictly observed by visitors, only then will everyone’s stay in the library be comfortable and fruitful.

Maintaining silence

Reading books requires a high degree of concentration, which cannot be achieved with extraneous noise. The first and most important rule is that you must maintain silence in the library so as not to disturb the work of other people and employees of the institution. In the circulation department, where people simply select books from the collection to take home, it is possible to speak in a normal tone.

In the reading room, where people directly read and work, composing reports, coursework, abstracts, it is necessary to maintain complete silence. When choosing books, you cannot talk to the librarian at full strength; you should “lower” your voice by two tones. You can't talk at all while working.

If you need to exchange any information with a satellite, this can be done using a whisper. You should also not constantly whisper, since even a whisper can distract other people who are focused on reading.

How else should you maintain silence?

  1. You should not blow your nose loudly, constantly cough or make any other sounds.
  2. The mobile phone should be switched to silent mode. If you urgently need to talk to someone on the phone, leave the reading room.
  3. Move chairs carefully when sitting or standing. Quietly take your things out of your bag and get ready to go home without making any noise.

Caring attitude

  1. Do not wrinkle the pages, tear them out or bend the edges.
  2. It is prohibited to leave marks in the margins with a pencil, pen or any other utensil.
  3. Your hands must be clean, otherwise the pages may get dirty.

Treat books with care, because the longer they last, the more people they will be able to “pass on” valuable knowledge.

Lack of food in the facility

The library is designed for concentrated work with books, so there is no place for food. You cannot eat crackers, chips or any other foods while working with books in the reading room.

The only thing allowed is a bottle of water. There is nothing to say about alcoholic drinks: of course, they are prohibited, as is visiting the library while intoxicated.

Library entry

It's easy to sign up for the library. You must come to the institution with an identification document. If a child is registered under the age of fourteen (when he does not yet have a passport), the document must be presented by his parents. Study the rules for using the library collection. Books are issued to the reader for a certain period of time, which cannot be violated.

Books must always be returned to the library within the stated deadline. If a person is behind on books, the librarian can call them at home with a reminder. A fine is charged for each day overdue.

A passport is not required to visit the reading room. You must tell the librarian the names of the books you need or the topic of your essay or report so that he can select the necessary literature. After that, it will record the number of books issued to you and you can start working.

Memo for children

It is especially important to separately highlight the rules of etiquette in the library for children.

Outerwear, as well as large bags and packages should be left in the wardrobe.

Do not violate generally accepted norms of etiquette. Be sure to say hello to the librarian upon entering the premises. After he helps you find the right book, thank him for his help. When leaving the facility, say goodbye to the employees. If you are leaving the reading room, please do so at the employee desk when checking out books. There is no need to loudly say “Do” while standing in the doorway and distracting everyone from work.

Put your mobile phone on silent mode.

If you have any questions, please contact the librarians politely. Rudeness and rudeness towards employees is unacceptable, you need to behave correctly.

The book should be handled with care and damage must be avoided. Handle the book only with clean hands.

Do not take food with you: chips, crackers, sandwiches, ice cream.

Pens and pencils should not be used as bookmarks: this may ruin the book.

Books must be returned to the library within the stated time frame. Abuse is punishable by a fine and is considered bad manners.

It is forbidden to play on a mobile phone; you must do business in the library.

When leaving the premises, be sure to thank the employees and say goodbye.

It is important to know the rules of behavior in the library for children during public holidays. Children's libraries often organize various events dedicated to significant dates or holidays. Children must behave decently at these events. You cannot shout from your seat, violate discipline or make noise.

The library contains a huge number of books, each of which contains invaluable knowledge. The institution allows everyone to use books without restrictions. In turn, readers must ensure the safety of the collection, follow simple rules of behavior and follow etiquette in the library.

DURING THE CLASSES:

Librarian. Hello guys! I would like to start today's meeting with a riddle:

From the outside you look -

Home is like home

But there are no ordinary residents in it,

It contains interesting books

They stand in close rows.

On long shelves

Along the wall

Tales of old have collected:

And Chernomor,

And King Guidon,

And kind grandfather Mazai.

What is this house called?

Try to guess! (Library)

At the beginning of the school year, you were all already in the library: someone with parents, brothers and sisters, grandparents, or older friends came to get textbooks. How many of you know what a “library” is? What does this word mean?

Students' answers.

SLIDE 2 Librarian."Biblio" in Greek means book, and "theka" means storage. Do you know how many years libraries have existed in the world? Almost 5 thousand years! Paper had not yet been invented, but libraries already existed. What did they keep in them? Of course, books! In Egypt - written on papyrus, in Mesopotamia - scratched on clay tablets, in India - composed of chopped palm leaves, in China - silk scrolls. Some of these early books have survived to this day. They are now carefully stored in the largest libraries. So, a library is a house of books. This is where books, your true friends, live and make friends with each other. The library has a lot of books, magazines, and all this is called the book collection. And so that we can quickly find the book we need, each book stands in its place. In other words, we can say that each book has its own house and its own apartment. And, of course, a librarian will help you navigate this world well.

SLIDE 3. Our library has three departments: subscription, reading room and storage. The word "subscription" has many meanings. If you want to know all the values, look at the screen.

In a library, it means a place where books are borrowed. You can come here and sign up for the library. For a few days the book is yours. You can look at pictures, read, re-read, write something in a notebook. The book must be returned to the library at the time appointed by the librarian - after all, other children need it. What if you didn’t have time to read it? It doesn’t matter, come to the library and ask to extend the reading period for the book. We have books that are not issued at home. These are reference books - encyclopedias, dictionaries. These are books that readers could use any day. The librarian shows reference literature.

Librarian. You can also read various magazines in the library (shows magazines). These books and magazines can only be used in the library premises, so there are tables for working in the reading room.

There is silence in the reading room

We especially need it.

Go away, talk,

In the lobbies, in the corridors!

Fantasize, dream.

In the silence of the library

The speeches of birds and humans.

There are miracles in every book!

And, of course, silence

It's especially needed here.

So, guys, when you go to the library, you must remember that there are rules here that must be followed. Please listen to useful advice dear reader.

Slides 4–9 1. If you are in the library

I suddenly wanted to chat,

Don't forget to put it on your mouth

And it will be possible to work,

2. If you can't be quiet

Librarian. Books are like people: they are born, they live, they grow old. Just like people, they can get sick. And when they get sick, they need treatment. And all doctors know: it is easier to prevent any disease than to cure it, and they advise you to take care of your health. And you and I must take care of books and textbooks!

Flashes on the screen.

I hope you will remember them and follow them! Goodbye!

Librarian. Well, guys, did you like the book gifts? And now, so that our bookmarks are not sad, I suggest everyone color their bookmark. You can paint with any color: books, magazines, computer, students. And while you are fantasizing and coloring, I will read a poem by Sergei Mikhalkov.

How would we live without books?

Rules of behavior in the library

Goals: formulate rules of behavior in the library.

Location: school library, where an exhibition of children's books is organized.

Class progress

1. Solving the puzzle.

– Arrange the books on the shelf so that you can read the proverb.

ANSWER: A book is like water. It will make its way everywhere.

- Explain the meaning of the proverb.

-Where do books live? When did we visit the library?

2. The teacher's word.

Library – Ancient Greek word: biblion – book + theke – storage . Today we will say that this word means an institution where books are kept for public use.

Everyone needs a book, and it must be handled with care. Rare books are prohibited from being taken out; they are used in the reading room.

Pay attention to the exhibition of books. These books differ in their design. Why?

It depends on what purpose the book is intended for. Compare the dictionaries and the collection “Russian Folk Tales”. Is there a difference? Why are these books designed differently?

Books are friends and advisers. Writers share their knowledge and life experiences with us. From books we learn about the life of people and the animal world of other countries and states, about the historical past. Books contain all the information of humanity. Every person at home has at least a small library where favorite books and special books necessary for work are stored. But if we don’t have enough information, we go to the library.

3. Speech by a literary character (student).

Doctor Aibolit comes out.

Aibolit. To us, homeless

Books are crippled

The halls are spacious

Libraries!

Tramp books,

Sloppy books

Here from paper

They will sew shirts for you.

From calico

Jackets will be sewn

Will be cured soon

And they will give you a passport.

To us, homeless

Books are crippled

The halls are spacious

Libraries!

S. Ya. Marshak. A book about books

Teacher . It turns out that books can also “sick.” This can only happen through human fault, when the reader handles the book carelessly: bends corners and pages, does not use a bookmark. Drops the book. The greatest barbarity is when they tear out sheets and cut them out. Such books can be “treated.”

Demonstration of “cured” books.

4. The librarian's word.

You should know that the library has its own rules of conduct:

For any question, you can contact a librarian.

It is necessary to maintain silence in the room; noise distracts the attention of people who are already working with literature.

When entering the library, do not forget the polite words: hello, please, thank you, goodbye.

You need to work with books with clean hands, and do not bring any food into the hall.

You cannot bend books; use a bookmark. Everyone needs a book, so you need to handle it with care.

5. Game “Say the Word” or “Guess the Book Characters.”

But the father loved his son.

What a weird one

He is kinder than everyone else in the world,

He heals sick animals,

And one day a hippopotamus

He pulled me out of the swamp,

He's famous, famous

This is doctor... (Aibolit.)

On the plate with your nose.

Didn't swallow anything

And he was left with his nose.

Class hour: "How to behave in the library"

Goals:

To introduce students to the work of the library and its traditions.

To develop culture and responsibility, the ability to work in the school and city libraries.

Progress of the class hour.

In this building forever

There was silence.

There is no place for shouting or noise here.

This is where you become smart.

You can't chew candy here

And rustle papers.

What kind of building? Want to know?

I'll tell you about it.

This is a boarding school for books.

Lives here... (library)

Our class hour today is dedicated to the library. You know how to read, which means you can rightfully be called a reader. Not only can you read at home or in the classroom, but now you can work in the library. And the people who work there will help you with this. in library. Today she came to us... She will tell you about our school library, about how you can become readers.

Librarian's words...

As you can see, the library is a very serious and necessary institution. But besides everything else, a library is a public place in which there are certain rules of behavior. At the beginning of the class hour, you guessed a riddle, some rules were formed there. Let's make up our own rules of behavior in the library.

How should you behave?

What can't you do in the library?

  1. You cannot make noise or talk loudly in the library. People come to the library to work, and any noise can interfere. We must respect the work of other people.
  2. You are not allowed to eat in the library, not even sweets. Firstly, it is uncivilized, and secondly, you can dirty the book.
  3. Books must be handled carefully. After all, there are many readers, and if we are careless with the book. it will wear out and become unusable.
  4. If you took a book, looked at it and decided to return it, be sure to put it in that place. where did you get it, because every book has its own place in the library, otherwise how would you be able to sort through the mass of books.
  5. If you take a book home, do not delay returning it. After all, you are not the only library reader. Perhaps someone else needs this book, and this person cannot wait for it. Return books on time. Everything you read in the book is yours, but return the book.

As you can see, the rules of behavior in the library are simple, but they must be followed.

Now let’s choose our assistant librarian, who will maintain close contact with our school book keeper, report on upcoming events, check reader forms

In the classroom we will hold a campaign "The neatest textbook."

Let's find out who in the class skillfully uses textbooks?

What new did you learn today?

What rules of conduct in the library do you know?

I'm sitting in the library, full of vague dreams,

Books look at me with golden spines.

Their suffering and feelings are poured into those printed sheets.

Everything that burned and tormented them, all their thoughts and aspirations -

Everyone lives an immortal life here for glory

Enlightenment.

The very air here is sacred, here with invisible wings

LIBRARY CONDUCT REMINDER

(distributed to students)

  1. You must maintain order in the library, do not make noise, and do not talk loudly.
  2. When entering the library, you must say hello to the librarian, and when you receive a book, be sure to say “thank you.”
  3. The book should only be picked up with clean hands.
  4. The pages of the book should not be folded; you should use a bookmark.
  5. If a book is damaged, it must be put in order.
  6. Library books must be especially protected, since they are intended for many people.

Guys, we invite you to watch the cartoon and familiarize yourself with the rules of conduct in the library.

A library is a special place where books, textbooks, magazines, and newspapers are stored. Every schoolchild can come to the library, take books home or read them in the reading room.
Students work in the library. There is an atmosphere of peace and concentration in it. Everything in the library is aimed at concentrating attention and not being distracted by extraneous things. Here readers gain knowledge, immerse themselves in the wonderful and fascinating world of books, full of exciting adventures and all sorts of secrets.

The main condition for creating such an atmosphere is silence. The library should be calm and quiet; it should not disturb other students to study, or librarians to work.
Don't shout, don't make noise, don't talk to your neighbors even in a whisper.

Rules of behavior in the library:

  • when entering the library, say hello to everyone;
  • turn off your mobile phone; if you need to make a call, go out into the corridor;
  • clearly state your last name and class so that the librarian can find your card;
  • don't make noise, don't shout, don't run;
  • choose a new book carefully, do not throw books around;
  • if you read in the library, then sit up straight, don’t slump in your chair; When reading, try not to tilt your head too low: this way you will maintain correct posture and good vision;
  • move your chair carefully when you stand up; don’t make noise when you take your things out of your bag or when you’re getting ready to go home;
  • when you receive the book, don’t forget to say “thank you”;
  • hand in the book on time.

Rules for handling the book.
A book is a source of knowledge. Many students use library books. Therefore, so that others can read the book after you, handle it with care:

  • do not wrinkle the pages of the book (especially do not tear them out), do not bend the corners of the pages;
  • do not take notes in the margins of the book; do not underline anything, do not write or draw anything on its pages;
  • leaf through the book carefully, trying not to damage it; don't throw the book away;
  • return books taken home to the library on time;
  • Treat library books with the same care as your own.

Me, the book! I, your comrade!

Be polite to me, schoolboy.

My clean look is always pleasant:

Protect me from stains!

Don't bend my binding:

Don't break my spine!

Leave the bad habit:

While browsing, don’t slobber on your fingers!

Don't forget me in the garden

Suddenly the rain comes and it's bad luck.

Wrap me in paper.

Where you found me, return me there!

S. Marshak “Book complaints”

Rules for handling the book

1. The book should not get wet - this causes the pages to warp, the binding to swell and the binding to delaminate.

2. Don't read while eating. If you place a book next to a plate, the pages will get greasy stains that are impossible to clean.

4. The book is afraid to crumble into separate leaves. Do not throw an open book upside down, do not fold the pages. Use a bookmark.

5. If you want to draw something or write something down after reading a book, do it in an album or in a special notebook.

Rules for using school textbooks

1. Students sign each textbook received from the school library.

2. Textbooks must have an additional removable cover.

3. Students are required to return school textbooks in a neat condition.

4. If necessary, they are repaired (glued, cleaned, etc.).

5. In case of damage or loss of textbooks by students, they must replace them with new or equivalent books in agreement with the school library.

Rules of behavior in the library

1. When entering the library, say hello to everyone.

2. Do not throw away the book you read, but carefully place it on the table.

3. State your class and last name clearly and clearly so that the librarian will cross out the book.

4. When choosing a new book, do everything carefully, do not throw books around.

5. Don’t make noise, don’t shout, don’t run in the library.

6. Submit your books on time.

7. Handle books carefully.

How to behave properly in the library? Library rules?

    1. You must maintain complete silence when you are in the library reading room.

    3.Do not fold the pages of books.

    4.Do not underline with various pens and pencils.

    5.Do not delay the book if you took it home.

    A library is an institution that stores books. You must behave in this place quietly, carefully and carefully handle books.

    In general, do not talk, do not make noise, do not sneeze, do not cough, and under no circumstances fart (very important)!! ..

    But seriously, I don’t go to such places myself, I prefer a tablet instead of a book)

    • Keep quiet.
    • Do not eat or drink alcohol there.
    • Do not bother other visitors and do not be rude to librarians.
    • Do not wear dirty clothes that could stain something.
    • Do not come completely drunk if it is very noticeable.
    • Do not damage books and furniture and return borrowed books on time.
  • The library should behave like this:

    1. if you talk, do it quietly;
    2. do not shout;
    3. do not pick in certain places (including the nose);

    4 don't play with gadgets;

    1. don't listen to music.
  • When entering the library, remain silent.

    Treat books and other printed works received from the library collection with care.

    Return books on time and in a neat condition.

    Do not remove documents from the library premises that are not recorded in the reader's forms.

    Do not make any notes, underlines, or fold pages in books.

    Carefully inspect the book upon receipt and if you find any defects, notify the librarian, who is obliged to make appropriate notes on them.

    Damage caused to the library is compensated in the amount established by the Library Regulations. Parents bear responsibility in case of damage to the library collection for minor children.

    The library is a cultural institution, therefore it is necessary to behave culturally in it.

    First, you need to become a reader of the library, that is, simply put, sign up for a library, and then you can fully visit the library to select the books you need.

    When you come to the library, it is customary to say hello to the librarian. Leave outerwear and bags in the wardrobe. If you need help in choosing books, then the librarian will help you: he will tell you where, on which shelves, in which catalogs and card files, or in which department of the library you can find what you need.

    It is customary to speak quietly in the library.

    You should not talk on the phone in the library, especially if you are in the reading room.

    You cannot eat chips and crackers while reading magazines and books in the reading room.

    When choosing books on the shelves, you should follow the order established there - after all, all the books in the library are arranged in accordance with the bibliographic classifier system and in alphabetical order.

    The books you like can be taken home to read for the period that the librarian will write in your subscription. Important: Read books must be returned to the library! Many people neglect this rule and then get offended when the librarian calls on the phone, comes home unexpectedly, or threatens to take the librarian to court. Penalties may be applied for late return of books to the reader.

    Rules for using the library are quite simple, follow them and visiting libraries will give you pleasure.

    The library is a temple of knowledge. And all temples love silence. Because they have too distinct acoustics, which can distract readers in the presence of screamers. This is the main rule. We list the rest below:

    1. Almost every library consists of two rooms intended for receiving visitors: a subscription department and a reading room (reading room). In the first hall you can talk louder, since people here look at the titles of books and annotations to them, but do not work as deeply as in the second hall. But under no circumstances should you make noise.

    2. We must handle the books given to us even more carefully than our own: do not fold the bindings in the opposite direction (that is, do not turn the book inside out), do not take it with dirty hands and do not make any remarks in it, even with a pencil.

    3. Behave exactly the same as in any cultural institution.

    First of all, you need to behave decently and politely as everywhere else in society; this has never bothered anyone anywhere.

    In the reading room itself, silence must be maintained, this means that, if possible, do everything as silently as possible, including walking, pushing back a chair, turning the pages of a book, etc. If you are reprimanded, apologize and try not to make noise.

    There should be silence in the library! - as Mikhail Galustyan said in KVN. I adhere to his opinion that silence makes it possible to concentrate not only on others, but also on oneself. This is the most important rule, and also do not crumble, do not leave garbage behind, in short, behave calmly and with restraint.

    First rule libraries- this is ideal silence, and therefore you cannot make noise or talk loudly there. An important rule in the library is that when you come to it, you need to leave your outerwear in the wardrobe, which is located at the library.

    And if you go to the library for a couple of minutes, just to return a book, then this rule must be followed. If you have large grocery bags or shopping bags with you, you need to leave them at the entrance; usually there are boxes in the library for storing this.

    Extra things and bags in your hands will not irritate or distract you. If you need to ask or find out something from a librarian, you need to speak in a low voice. Do not fold the pages in library books, do not make notes with a pencil if you are reading them in the reading room, and well at home of course.

    Be sure to turn off your mobile phone or switch it to silent mode.

    If you need an excerpt from a book, they will help you photocopy it for a fee.

    You are not allowed to drink or eat in the library, unless there is a buffet there, then it is allowed on its territory.

    1) Don’t make noise, don’t sneeze, don’t cough, don’t talk loudly, don’t walk on creaky floorboards, don’t laugh, don’t talk on the phone in the common room - in general, don’t do anything that attracts attention or somehow disturbs the deathly silence. I can tell you about myself. I'm probably a bad reader. If I came to the library with someone before, I was constantly bursting into laughter, as was my companion (although I laughed very quietly), and I could not calm down, because it is very difficult to contain it. Moreover, as a rule, some funny characters came - I remember one wonderful young man constantly had something fall from the table, and he ran to pick it up. Well, how can I resist here? In the institute library they remembered me like that))) And I was the only one who was just serious.

    2) Do not spoil books, do not tweet there, do not tear out pages. Return what you read on time (there seems to be a fine for this).

    In general, libraries have a special atmosphere - it’s a pity that they are not particularly visited now.
